Bulliesos are inundated with dogs can you help give a dog temporary care until a permanent home is found, if so then please get in touch. this time of year is the busiest for all dog rescues as so many are given in, abused or just abandoned. please think before buying a dog for xmas, a dog is ...for life, just the same as your kids. If you can offer a temporary home or even a forever home for an English Bull Terrier then please get in touch.

This is Phonix. He is an 8 month old Staffy. He is intact at the moment and will need castrating. He cannot go with an entire female until this has been done. He is desperate for a loving home. Great with kids, other dogs and is basically bomb proof. Please can someone give this handsome little chap a home.

Hi Netstar - see you are in Norfolk. IF you have any bullies that are good with dogs and cats (children not important as have none and no friends/relatives with any) then pm me please :-)

All rescues are currently inundated with dogs - all over the country. Breed rescues, all breed rescues, etc.

We have a very long waiting list for hand ins plus try relentlessly to find places for the poundies when their time is up.

It is also the time of year when the oldies get dumped to make way for the Christmas pups.

Should you not be posting this on Scoobynet... snigger

I am only half joking by the way. I use Scoobynet and posted on this thread last night:

http://bbs.scoobynet.com/non-scooby-related-4/8621...

Seems to be loads of people on Scoobynet with a soft spot for these types of dogs.

This is trev 9 months old still very puppy like in his ways, he is with his friend molly in one of the pics. Great with kids though can be bouncey so would prob say kids 4 and above, good with all females def no males, no cats and be careful if you have other small critters eg rabbits, hamsters etc.
He is fine with all dogs when out and likes to say hello to every one he meets, if he gets met by aggression then he wont always stand for it.
He is good on recall . If you can offer this little man a foster home then please get in touch.

Urgent foster home needed please
I would like to introduce you to Badger, she is a 3 year old Brindle & White girl, whose owner was considering euthanasia because she has atopic dermatitis and he cannot afford her upkeep any longer.
Thankfully the vet they took her to refused to put her to sleep and contacted BIN for help. Badger is currently living at the vets practice which is not ideal but at least she is safe.
I know this is a big ask at this time of year, but Badger would really like a home to call her own and a chance at the life she deserves, Badger has a beautiful temperament and is good with other dogs, she is microchipped and vaccinated and will come with a voucher for spey as she has just come into season.

Please pm if you can help. If you would like to donate towards the cost of her treatment you can paypal to bin@bull-terriers.co.uk or send cheques or postal orders marked Badger Appeal to
PO Box 31,

Well, nearly a year to the day Netty first posted this and I fostered Archie.

As the Christmas period approaches we are being inundated with Bullies needing forever and foster homes. 3 are on the put to sleep list for this coming week.

If you can find room for a little pigdog over Xmas and beyond please please please get in touch smile

Sadly, you and every single other rescue in the UK frown

Rescues that have contracts with pts pounds have had to close their doors to hand ins due to the sheer numbers coming in. What has also been noticeable is the increase in those needing expensive medical treatment frown
