feeding time and the middle dog (age) kicks off at the other 2 , happened before ,but this time he bites me.!

he was confirmed with diabetis early this year and has 2 insulin shots after his meals ,

could the aggresion be related and can it be overcome ,its always him that starts the fights but as the other 2 are bigger he always comes off worse.

No idea if it can be related to his diabetes BUT how close together do you feed them? Are the other two trying to nick his food? i.e. do they "start it"? Is he trying to steal their food? Is he on the same diet as them?

I think low blood sugar can make dogs a bit grumpy - certainly does people.

The biting you rather than the other dogs is just redirected aggression. He is just so hyper and you happen to be there.

I would feed them in separate roms and just leave him alone while eating. Pick the bowls up before you let them back in together so avoiding any flashpoints.
