House Rabbit Advice Please
Discussion
Evening all, last December me and the wife decided to buy/rescue a house rabbit. Recently we have noticed a change in her behaviour and have put it down to the fact my wife is due anytime soon so thought a bit of jealousy. She has been house trained and know's where her toilet is. Yesterday after her bouncing around for half an hour I noticed a small puddle by my feet and some droppings. She has also done the same again tonight.
There has been no change to her diet still has dry nuggets in the morning a mix of dried salad stuff from pets at home in the afternoon and hay throughout the day. She does have the odd treat now and again, usually dried fruit.
Can anyone shed any light on why all of a sudden she has started to wee and pooh around the home? Also I have noticed she only does this when she is trying to make holes in the rug or the throw on the chair.
Any advice greatly appreciated.

I started a reply then work went a bit busy.
I was going to ask if she'd been spayed (the rabbit, not the wife) as she seems to be showing signs of jealousy/phantom pregnancy. Weeing in areas outside the normal litter tray is territory marking, I wouldn't be too worried unless the turds are watery.
She'll soon settle down again when baby comes along as long as she gets some good fuss and attention, otherwise she'll start being destructive. Just like if you have a dog and ignore it when a baby comes along.
