We've got a single furry cushion in the house not unlike this one:

My cat spends far too long banging it when he's bored even though he's neutered and about 17 years old.

I tend to just leave him to enjoy himself hehe

It could be worse. One of my cat's bangs the other cat.

They are both boys
They are brothers
They are from the same litter

He seems to have stopped doing this now - but did it for a long time.

It's "normal" (ie not unusual) in some neutered males. We had a neutered ginger tom who continued this behaviour until the week before his death due to old age related illnesses.

His last new years eve was spent shagging "Blankie" in his basket whilst the whole family were there to watch.

So you're saying Blankie is single now?

Reminds me of the classic story of the lady who took her dog to vet as she was pregnant.

Asked of who the father was, she said she cannot understand how that could be, as the only other dog she had was her brother.

My sisters male cat does this to their female cat.

Well kind of, he mounts her, then looks very confused not knowing what to do next. Bless him hehe

I'm sure this is a dominance thing rather than him being a gay incest loving cat nuts

Can you capture 'the moment' on video for us all? I'm having difficulty picturing exactly what's going on here.
