Is it just my cat?!?!?!?

Just remember that you're standing on a planet that's evolving
And revolving at nine hundred miles an hour.
That's orbiting at ninety miles a second, so it's reckoned,
A sun that is the source of all our power.
The sun, and you and me, and all the stars that we can see,
Are moving at a million miles a day,
In an outer spiral arm, at forty thousand miles an hour,
Of a galaxy we call the Milky Way.
You think any of sleep in the same place as last week?
And revolving at nine hundred miles an hour.

Mine has maybe half a dozen areas of the house claimed in the name of his sleeping calendar. Unfortunately, the latest addition to said calendar seems to be perching on my chest, meaning I keep waking up thinking all those years of burgers and pints have caught up with me and the old ticker's giving up, only to find a chinchilla persian neatly perched on my chest, in a posture which suggests he'll remove my eye with his claw should I dare question his authority.

I am in the exact same situation. She now wants to lay on my chest when I am in bed, so I can't see the TV and can pretty much hear just purring. And using her claws to stay there too..... I am hoping as it is Sunday she will be changing soon. But what is amusing is we have a cat rug for her so she doesn't mess up other things so my OH has to womble around moving the cat bed regularly.......
One of ours sleeps on a bed cover on top of a wardrobe. Horrible thing, but sufficiently well trained that when she hears us stand up to go to bed, she trots downstairs..
Other one moves around, but is partial to back of settee's unless the 4 year old is around. Then she will be in a dark quiet corner. Inside bags is perfect as far as she is concerned.

in the sink in the bedroom, on my dressing table stool... current favoured spot is a windowsill. Cat's are strange.
Ours likes the sink in the downstairs WC... very small sink - seems to fit the cat perfectly After meeting the "real" Stig, and returning from the ADAC rally the cat chose me to look after him so I had to call him "Stig" too!

Since ours are outdoor cats, they tend to sleep in the garage. One is pretty regular with his sleeping, the other can be anywhere, but if I change it she won't sleep there any more.
Example being she was sleeping on the lawnmower at the back of the garage, it didn't look comfy so I moved her bed cushion on top of it and she hasn't slept there since.
