Irish Terriers
Discussion
any Irish terrier owners on here?
I'm contemplating my next terrier for when the oldest of my Welshies decides to call it a day (he's 16 and showing no signs of it just yet)
I've been contemplating an Airedale as I would like something larger than a Welsh but the size is slightly concerning. An Irish looks to be the perfect compromise and I love the look of them and, judging from a bit of research, the character.
Be interested in any anecdotes

Great dogs and full of character.
Suggest you start with visiting a couple of Irish Terrier Club shows if you can, to talk to breeders.
Pups need early, thorough and continuing socialisation to ensure they remain well behaved with other dogs, same as Welsh and Airedales. Some lines are a bit lively.
Good luck
