There are a LOT of Racoons in the neighborhood I live in. Despite looking quite adorable, they are something of a nuisance. Their ability to defeat anything but armor-plated trash bins is well known, but they also seem pretty determined to invade our houses too - almost exclusively into attic spaces, via less than battened-down soffits and facias. Once inside, fking mayhem generally ensues.

We recently had an issue with a feral cat and it's kitten - and asked a local feline rescue group to assist with the capture/spay and adoption of the kitten (which wasn't thriving). The youngster was easy to snag, but the adult was skittish and elusive, so they left a trap overnight, in our back garden.

The result.......
