My wife and I have just moved to a new home in a village in North Dorset, and after wanting a dog for a while, we found a very well-respected breeder in Oxfordshire who breeds Goldens and shows them at Crufts too. We had our name down for when the puppies were due and were finally called in August to go and see them. We immediately chose Millie...or rather, she chose us. I'd always heard that said, but understood it when we went there.

Went and picked her up a week ago, and we're absolutely enamoured. Currently not QUITE sleeping through the night (but she is only nine weeks old!), but even when I'm standing in my pants on the patio at 3am celebrating the fact that she's urinating outside, I don't regret it.

She came with a breeding pedigree certificate from the Kennel Club showing five generations and various show winners, which was mildly amusing but not as much as her official full name - Ramblegold Sorrento Star. She'll only be called that when she misbehaves!

Here's some photos of our little madam.

Thank you! Glad she approves.

We're limited to the house and garden until Millie's fully vaccinated. I'm sure she'll delight in greeting strangers in the village pub when the time comes!

What a beautiful little girl, enjoy every moment of her being cute and fluffy, all too soon, someone breaks in during the night and steals your divine little cutie and replaces it with a great big slobbering monster!

My Belladonna (black Lab also with a posh name) is now 2 years old, time bloody flies along. It seems like only minutes ago she was a tiny little bundle. I hope your little lass is as awesome at being a dog as mine is smile

I've also got a 6-month-old Basset hound, he's so cute people bite their arms off with desire, but, he's a bugger all the way through! Love the little sod to bits though.

Thank you! Weirdly, we can already see differences in the size of her this week compared to last week. I drive a lot with work as a sparky all over the South Coast, but my wife works from home (automotive copywriter) so she's around her 24/7.
I've definitely noticed a change from day to day, and you can see it in photos side-by-side.

Thanks guys! Beautiful dogs you've got too. We're very excited to be watching her grow day by day, and she definitely is beautiful (although I'm rather biased....).

Nothing more cute than a Golden pup and that's a lovely looker, Cocker pups might be on a par but i'm biased too as had Golden from pup in a previous life and currently two Cockers, the boy of which we kept from the litter we bred.

Enjoy every minute, our Cockers are now nearly 11 and 8 and both going grey/white in the face and elsewhere, brings home how they age when you find a pic of them taken even 3 years ago with not a grey hair in sight.

That pic must be 6 or 7 years ago.
