I ended uo by accident coming across this gps collar for cats and it's just been the most brilliant thing I've bought for my cat. I'm not promoting ths product for the firm or anything like that just sharing my genuine joy this product had brought me and my cat.

It's cheap to buy (i got 40% off with a mothers day code!) and the monthly pricing is barely higher than a streaming service. When i get more money i will go for annual plans as it brings the cost right down. I have found my cat with it a lot and if you're cat stays close to the house a lot then it saves power by using your WiFi.

My cat is small (3.03kg) and it's of no concern or bother to her which was my worry but the thing feels so light. I didn't even read or know about the health tracking smartwatch type stuff it does before buying it so i found it really funny to ser her getting goal streak medals laugh the notifications for when she goes somewhere she shouldn't are lightning fast

If you're a cat owner with a need for exrra monitoring i couldn't rate it any higher. The included collar was too short for my cat but other than that it's been nothing but peace of mind and a bit of fun and games. I also find it interesting because i always wanted to know what she does when she goes out, nosy bugger lol blah

Proper happy with this gadget smile I wanted to share because I know us cat owners are a dedicated bunch

It's called tractive but ill post some screenshots and a picture of Charlie a kitten i rescued from a crack den last winter. They sold her for their next hit of crackcry hence the name. Has brought nothing but joy to my life and I'm so lucky to have her

Wow. Similar occurrence. I just happened to be passing by a Ferrari dealership and accidentally bought a car. It's been fantastic. I'm in no way trying to get a freebie from Ferrari, a very fine company who sells magnificent cars.

Me with a mate out in our cars yesterday

Good post. It does read a bit like a fake review but I think you're genuine.

The system has too much detail for me (Wellness?) but the sleep timer could be interesting - I think my cat would score about 20 hours!

no I'm genuine I've been a member on here for years. It's just that people in this section of the forum might find it useful for their own pets and protect them. I kinda didn't know how to write it but I do understand it seems like a fake review. I just didn't really know how to Express how surprised I was by something I had found by chance. If it was anywhere else on the forum then fake post I could understand but this is the pets part of the forum and I know that we're a dedicated bunch especially cat owners.

I'll just leave this with a line from Family Guy when Peter asks Quagmire where his cat is to which he responds " no cat owner knows where they're f****** cat is"

there are competing and different approaches to this solution as well, some with a higher outlay but without the cost of the SIM card and also better battery life but nothing is as good as GPS at the end of the day. But I'm sure there's plenty of solutions for plenty of people

if anything I might now become a fake ad writer. Get loads of gadgets to rave about for free 😂

That’s awesome. If our cat actually went anywhere (a 5 minute garden excursion is more than enough for her it seems) I’d def get one

Is this suggesting your cat is spending a lot of time at two other specific locations? Do you know where they are?

Been tempted to get one of these for one of my cats in particular, of whom i suspect is having an affair with another family as he disappears, with some urgency i might add and always in a specific direction, at specific times of the very early morning and then reappears at our house for the night just around his dinner time. He once turned up smelling of cheap perfume.

I'm fairly sure that one of you couldn't give a tinker's cuss about it, TBH. smile

I'd love to know where our cat goes, but it looks like a bulky thing to attach to a small animal. Our cat refuses to even wear a collar- it always takes them off.

Our cat is even smaller than yours, so it would look absolutely massive and would definitely hinder its movements.

I know it's more sophisticated than e.g. an Airtag- since it uses GPS, but it's still more expensive than I thought- you could get a brand new cat every year for a similar price!

Yeah lots of people would like to know where their cat goes! i wish it had a camera too so i could see the world from her point of view but sadly it doesn't go that far. Yeah if your cat is smaller than mine then i wouldn't go for it either. My cat just meets the 3kg requirement. It often swings to the side or under their neck/chest her movements seem no way impeded. My mum wanted one but like you her cat has a habit of loosing just a normal collar. Im sure I'll have to pay for another one at some point. She goes to places that I never thought that she would though, goes to the alley behind the local shop (probably rats or mice there)
