Trichomonosis - Wild Birds
Discussion
Those of you who feed them will know
Every bloody September now. Seeing it in ‘my’ Greenfinches, Chaffinches and Goldfinches. So heartbreaking, as they die of starvation and thirst.
Doing all I can by bleach cleaning the feed holders twice a day, removing them temporarily when I spot sick ones and I don’t provide water anyway, as disease is so easy to spread in it.
Reluctant to completely remove the feeders, as I’ve got 50+ birds relying on it.
