Any recommendations for a brush/roller to remove pet hair from carpets?

We have a Miele Cat & Dog vacuum cleaner, but as the owners of 3 long haired dogs we find the brushes on that are constantly having to be cleared. Most effective thing we've found so far is an old grooming brush to run over the carpet before vacuuming, but we'd prefer something with a longer handle rather than crawling around on all fours.

Plenty of options online, just wondering if anyone had first hand experience?

I also crawl on all fours with a pin-type grooming brush!

Rubber floor brush from B+M. Looks like a standard broom/brush but is rubber.

We also have one of these, which we don't use on the carpet, but find it great on fabric sofas, wool cushion covers etc.

And while its small, slow, and requires getting on all fours, our cleaner has one of these which appears to work ok on the carpet.

I remove dog hair from carpets and the car boot with my trainers. Amazingly effective as the hair rolls off!

I gave one to a very house proud (OCD level) friend who has a chocolate lab, and she was very upset how much hair this got out of the carpet after she had cleaned.

^ this. We have one and it's very satisfying to see how much comes out of our lounge rug even after hoovering.
