I took this photo at a local falconry centre on Friday, and being a plonker I didn’t make a note of many of the birds. Most I can either remember or use Google Lens, but this one… stumped.

No, bigger and nastier than them, I think. I’m not going to profess any expertise or say you’re wrong though. They had some Harris hawks, redder and darker.

Hmm. That rings a bell, and their plumage varies greatly. Head matches.
