Spot treatment for folliculitis in a dog

I wondered whether anyone could recommend a treatment for folliculitis as our dog has an infected follicle on her lower lip. It’s only a minor pimple so I reckon a spot treatment like the one below would be sufficient rather than a vet visit and antibiotics, or a shampoo which would be an overkill, however I can’t see for sure that this stuff is quite right for the job. Any ideas?
