Have seen a few short videos on this and after doing some googling it appears to be happening everywhere, the benefits for both humans and dogs must be very good

Other than puppies potentially passing bugs to each other, maybe some socialisation I can't really think of any other benefits. I've only watched the video posted however, perhaps others contain clips of humans doing proper exercise and dogs being trained responsibly. Looks fun for the puppies though.
