Hi
The dog is getting on abit and he will need a few tablets.

How does it work getting them online with the prescription?

And where do you recommend ?

We used https://www.viovet.co.uk/ for a while with our previous cat. You upload a scan of the prescription for them to check alongside your order. Delivery was fine and way cheaper than buying from the actual vets.

For prescription drugs you’ll still need the vet to prescribe. Our vet charges £8 per prescription and it’s good for 3 months normal or 6 months arthritis drugs. Your vet may differ!

Once you have the script find your online pet med store of choice and place the order. They will give guidance on how to upload/send in a copy of the prescription then validate and dispatch the meds.

It was about 1/3 of the price the vet wanted for the drugs.

I've used https://www.petcounter.co.uk/ to get prescription meds for my cat - it's less than half the price the vet charges and the service is good.

But you will need a prescription from the vet to place an order - and mine charges about £25! They send it over by e-mail which is convenient.

Petdrugsonline-at least half the cost of tablets from the vet-you place the order you need, inform your vet to send them the prescription.
When I questioned the extortionate cost of the same tablets from my vet surgery they said “but they can buy the tablets cheaper than we can” yeah right …
