Puppy (11 months) being spayed soon - any advice?

Steri-suits (surgical suits) are great. Can be bought cheaper online than in the vet practice normally. Buy one a couple of days before the surgery and try it on before they go. You don't want to do the first trial fit when she's half drugged up.
Check the painkillers they give, as they are not suitable for dogs with sensitive stomachs normally (ask me how I know). When we realised, our vet suggested half a 500mg paracetamol morning/night - our dog is 25kg though.
Don't be tempted to bring them to bed with you if they are not currently sleeping there. Ours sleeps downstairs and, aside from the sensitive stomach issue where we were out every 2 hours, he stayed downstairs.
Eating may be a bit off for the first couple of days, but a diet of scrambled eggs/boiled chicken/rice is recommended.
Toilet habits may be odd for the first few days as their system restarts from the anaesthetic.
Ours was a boy so we had to be weary of his incision, however given a laparoscopic surgery, your girl may be back to normal within a couple of days.
Be careful of her over-stretching. If she jumps onto sofas etc. normally, try to pick her up instead.
Lastly, give her loads of cuddles! Given she's a King Charles, I'm sure she thinks she's a queen anyway and would deserve no less.

We did our lab bh keyhole a couple of years ago - no real issues.
Second a suit rather than a cone - our dog is clumsy enough without her wandering around in a lampshade.
Also echo the odd toilet habits - ours was going through the eye of a needle for a few days and had a couple of accidents in the house.

Both our dogs have been done and went for the suit instead of the cone. Although we had to use the cone once as they managed to get to their stitches, but felt sorry for him as he kept bashing into things.
Just make sure you keep an eye on them, and make sure they are not jumping up to the sofa, or running up the stairs. Might be worth to get another suit as we forgot to undo ours and he wee'd in it.
