Hens won't lay.

We have 3 hens that haven't laid an egg for 6 months! They have fresh water, Layers pellets feed, an Omlet nest box with no red mites, plenty of straw, things to perch on dotted around and an enclosure around 10ft x 5ft. They appear happy and content.
My wife keeps trying to find excuses like moulting, temperature, light.. but all of these things will have changed/been and gone in the 6 months of waiting. Previous chickens in the same run, and previous to those were all good layers. These three are just 2 1/2 years old and haven't laid for 6 months of it. Have we just got s
