More exotic pets on PH

Other than the usual cats and dogs what are your more unusual pets you own.
We're starting the viv build next week for a pair of poison dart frogs. Its going to be a natural enclosure so going to give it 8-12 weeks to establish and sort any issues plus will give the springtails and Woodlouse time to feel at home and breed a little. Open to any tips.

Probably not regarded as exotic by most, but classed as that by vets, are rabbits. I have eight (four pairs). I only have photos of six - and it's pouring down here so I'm not going outside to get a photo of the other two, sorry!
Tessie (mix breed) and Boddington (mini rex)
Jasper (rex/lop) and Poppy (mini rex)
Alvin (mix breed) and Izzy (mix breed)
The others are Ivy - white and agouti mix breed, and Button - chocolate brown mini lop (Button is the only pure lop I have)

Had a few over the years.
Favourites were my breeding pair of Giant day geckos…
I loved them, but they bred like rabbits and I couldnt move the youngsters on.
They are now an exhibit in a small local zoo.
Had a Peacock day gecko after them, but he was very shy and not as much fun as the giants.
Currently just have Malcolm the Cresty.

Thanks Marniet, a better photo of him, he is a beautiful boy (but I am a bit biased!)
He was from Pets@Home Adoption section - one of their 'rejects' who'd been put in there along with his brother because they'd got too old to sell and were fighting. Two unneutered males together, fighting? Who'd a thunk it?

OP, I always fancied keeping Dartfrogs, but from my research when investigating them, its actually about becoming a Fruitfly breeder to ensure constant fresh food.
Good luck and keep us updated.
I didn't know day geckos bred so much. Dodged that one that as I love day geckos and was tempted. Actually going to get a pair of mourning gecko's to go in as well as they can be put in with the type of darts I want. Good luck and keep us updated.
The fruit fly worried me to start but actually once you get your head around it it's not really that bad and they last a few weeks. Will update as and when.

The little thumbnail frogs have been awesome but also a basically invisible pet….I’ve only ever seen all three together once and that was 3 years after first getting them
Def wise to let the tank settle in and the isopods get going. My frogs are small enough to eat the springtails as well as baby woodlice and fruit flies. They’ve been going a bit over 5 years now (I know there’s still at least one cos I saw it yesterday) and I do absolutely nothing with them at all except put fruit flies in a few times a week (which escape a lot and find their way into my wife’s wine every night without fail. Super popular) and make sure the water in the tank is high enough for the pump.

Shy frogs was one of the considerations. I did was 4 or 5 frogs but the ones I wanted couldnt be kept in groups. Another type i like apparently are quite noise and hard to get hold of but amazing colours. i did look at the bumblebee ones and they look amazing and whilst can be kept in groups can be a bit shy. Mrs fell in love with tinctorius azureus (blue) Possibly can be kept in more than a pair once sexed but can be kept with morning geckos which is another option. Not shy at all which is the best bit. Local friendly shop showed us feeding time and when they see the tub they come and sit at the front of the viv Def wise to let the tank settle in and the isopods get going. I have a Exo terra which ive heard springtails can escape but the habistat are supposed to be better and actually look better with one piece glass door. I may swap them out long term and use the exo for some whitesdumoy tree frogs for my office.
