What exactly are these?

Nothing as far as I can tell other than your usual questionable looking spiders, everytime I come across one it’s already dead

My first thought was that they look like leaf petioles - I have a big ivy hedge that leaves them that long and they can blow in to the garage. But yours have concentric bands much like a giant millipede.

Are you finding them on the floor, hanging from the ceiling or what?

I find them on the floor, haven’t come across any anywhere else.

I’ve never come across one alive, which along with the appearance leads me to question if they are some sort of parasite
