Weird, there's loads of them, they're distinctive but I've never noticed them before.

Yeah it does look a bit different. Maybe escaped racing pigeon? Don't see a tag though.

It is white rock dove, essentially the same species as what most people call feral pigeons. There are a huge variety of colour variations due to domestication. Pure white is very rare in wild populations, but much more common in urban environments where there are lots of escaped domestic pigeons breeding with feral rock doves.

There is a flock near me that have taken to a house with solar panels. There are a few mixed whites and a couple of pures, as well as the more usually rock dove colouration.

There's been a flock of about 30 of them about in my garden for ages. Your ID up thread is deffo correct.
