Just noticed the Collared Doves have started incubating their clutch of 2 eggs in our Rhododendron bush today, these are completely
wild birds (although the male flies onto my hand for peanuts, at least once every day for the last 18 months!) and this would appear to
be exceptionally early to be trying to raise young, consider it's in Scotland as well and the weather has been very cold with only an occasional
milder day mixed in.
Just wondering if anyone else is seeing birds building nests or incubating already?
