So the neighbours cat is pooing on my fake lawn.

I’ve tried most commercial cat off stuff.
Pepper, garlic, mustard netting dand netting but to no avail.

So my last chance is Pistonheads, anyone ??

Fake lawn = council . Buy a dog or learn to drop kick , failing the latter try leaving a few empty wine bottles around the edges . You can thank me later wink

You sure it’s a cat and not a fox? Cats don’t tend to leave their poo on display. Foxes do.

Great excuse to buy one of these and take aim. A few direct hits will put cats off coming back, I'm sure:

This - cats naturally want to bury their poo, hence them using soil rather than grass.

And yes, this too. We've had a few weird poos appearing on our patio in recent weeks, Mrs UTH tries to blame cats (ours or neighbours) but I try and explain that a cat isn't going to just drop one on a paving slab. They like to bury it.

Hedgehog poo, relative to the size of a hedgehog's arse, is massive.

It could be a hodgepeg.

Without wanting to be too graphic, what would that look like? The stuff that keeps popping up on our patio is nothing like a cat poo (another reason Mrs UTH must be wrong) as it's just a pile of stuff rather than, well, you know, cat poo.

There are several PH style defensive measure ideas on YT that involve hosepipes and PIR sensors..

Looks like a large, black slug. Not disimilar to cat poo.

Tastes differant.

Whatever animal is responsible, it's trying to tell you something about your plastic outdoor carpet.

Hmmmm, ok, what we're being left isn't slug shaped. Mystery remains then.

You need to wash your plastic grass more often. Probably more often than you would mow a real one. If it smells like a toilet the cat/fox/whatever will keep using it. Maybe a strong citrus cleaner would stop them?

That's an interesting point. A real lawn naturally renews itself and has its own ecosystem; a plastic one will just sit there.
