No distress, none. No pain. No staggering, listless as though car strike/drag along the road. No other marks or injury.

Vet thinks it's a burn but how?!

What could it be? Can't be hot water as its in one place.

Eye is OK.

I've pulled the image so not cause any upset

Yes and my car is low/has four Exhausts. It occurred yesterday evening and unusually instead of parking on the kerb I parked on the flat driveway which meant the car was low...

Even though he's only 1yr old he's physically a big cat in build/stature as well.

It is possible considering what else it could be.
