Product recommendation for dogs with noise anxiety

We've had our Romanian rescue dog, Fox, for nearly 5 years now. He's always been scared of loud noises, particularly thunder and fireworks, to a degree that I've never seen with any other dog. It's horrible to witness, and we've tried him on pretty much every remedy on the market. Recently though at a check up at the vets, he was prescribed Sileo. Last night we had the biggest thunderstorm in years, and thanks to the Sileo he was calm throughout. From reading about it, the active ingredient is the same as what's used to keep patients in ICU sedated! So yeah, powerful stuff, but it's what he needed. Can't recommend it highly enough if your dog is scared witless by thunder or fireworks.

My dog, despite being a gun dog breed, has always been scared of loud noises, he even remembers places where he’s previously heard loud noises on subsequent visits and just isn’t himself, he tucks his tail between his legs and sticks to us like glue. Usually he’s off exploring.

Bonfire night and New Year’s Eve are always stressful as we try our hardest to keep him calm..
