Good boy, Monty.

How did you train him to do that? 🤣

What a clever lad. If our boy finds water when we are on walks and he is hot, will lower himself balls first into the water rofl We call the his thermomoballs because if they are knocking against his knees, he is too hot biggrin

Not daft, you say?

We worry for him, but he absolutely loves sunbathing. Interspersed with dips in the pond, though.

Another sunbather. He’ll follow it around the garden and house. So if you can find the sunny spot, the dog won’t be far away.

Border Terriers obviously like to keep cool. Mine will find whatever water they can when it's hot & lie down. Avoid it at all costs when it's cold!

Your pic reminded me of this.

I found it easily enough but it's not credited. It was National Geographic or someone equally respectable.

It was on a greetings card I sent my dad years ago. I came across it after my mum died. It must have tickled him to have kept it.

The card is here somewhere but the image came up on Google easily enough.
