Where are the bees?

Haven't seen many bees this year. The "wildflower mix" which had lots of buzzy friends hanging around last year has been visited so far by a fairly small number of bumble bees but no honey bees. frown

Same for house martins. None have nested on my house for 2 years :-(

I’m sat out in the garden at every opportunity and the Bee activity does seem down on last year.

I have saved a few. Have they just not got going properly yet?

We have seen hardly any wasps either, just a couple of nasty hornets.

Since when have hornets been nasty? They're gentle things albeit scarey looking coz they can break your arms, lol :-)

Or is that geese;-)

Well they beat Norwich at Carrow Road this season.
