Garden is fully on top of concrete. ( Cow barn conversion )
Electric gates- make garden totally secure. Nothing in - nothing out.
Gates have been problematic - and have stayed open for weeks.

Gates now fixed. But...

Wild rabbit is living under coal shed ( too heavy to lift )

Not possible to leave gates open.

Am worried that wild rabbit would like to get out into farm fields - but he/ she isn't having it.

When I open gates - it scarpers under coal shed.
Have tried everything to block its path to coal shed off. To no avail.

I'm worried that - deprived of water etc - I will end up with 1 dead bunny.

Any ideas?

You need to fashion some sort of escape route that it can take in its own time if you wish to save it. Wild rabbits will climb moderate inclines when desperate.

If all else fails - open gate, push rabbit out from under shed with broom or hose jet?

Or get more planks etc to block way back to shed. It's a rabbit; there has to be a way.
