From the article, which I'm sure some of you know how to get round the paywall, these 2 paragraphs stand out....

"It became really disruptive over the summer with large crowds gathering around when she was on the beach, inappropriate antisocial behaviours, with people throwing stones at her, trying to sit children on her to get photos or take selfies, and trying to feed her really random objects as well.

"We've heard of people trying to throw sandwiches and ice cream and doughnuts at her for example, which of course, aren't normal things she would eat.

I'm ashamed to be human at times... frown

Depressing isn't it frown Some people seem to think anything like that is fair game for their own entertainment. Hopefully they can properly rehabilitate it.

It's sad isn't it.

Last year there was seal that used to rest up on a boat ramp on the Thames near Hammersmith. Lots of people would stop to have a look, until eventually someone's dog attacked it and it had to be put down.
