Food and pets ????
Years ago we had neighbours with a stunning cat, called bagpus. He was named after the TV cat. But our Bagpus had one failing- food. One afternoon /evening his owners held a BBQ, with curried rice as a side dish. One guest found his plate empty- Bagpuss had emptied it. At this time we had no dog and problems with cats digging. So we thought- best defence is cat of our own, so we befriended Bagpuss to find that he had claimed out kitchen as his own, and any food on the table. His last mistake was to follow me to a neighbour's place. I sat in the garden with our neighbour ,outside ,with their GS dog at my side. He was a big petted dog. Suddenly Bagpus jumped over the fence, and in true Tom CAT STYLE jumped back over. ( Exit stage right was the order of the day).
Years later, I've rescued a JRT/Cairn cross who's pasta mad. She loves most vegie meals, and we strongly check any food for onion/ onion salts/anythngy onion etc and try to restrict her pasta intake.
But any vet /vetteck advise on ow much she can have.
