New house - cats peeing everywhere

We've been in a couple of weeks now, and despite some of them using their toilet, at least one of them is still peeing, either on the door mats or elsewhere. Not sure if she is using the toilet as well. I had hoped they would have settled down by now. Any advice for getting them to pee in the correct place would be appreciated.

Watching with interest to see what answers you get, our elderly (16 year old) Persian has taken a liking to the door mats as well.

Damage control is my approach so far, two rubber door mats from Amazon so at least the urine is kept off of the carpet.

Pick up a Feliway Classic spray and use it in the litter tray

It does seem to have the right affect on the cats
