Cat collars.

I’ve just had to cut a collar off my cat for the second time as the ‘safety release’ was completely jammed solid. They look completely okay but no matter how hard I tug it just won’t separate. Not great as that’s a major selling point.

Both were Ancol brand.

Anyone recommend another type that are more durable and do the job?

You simply weren’t pulling hard enough. You have to pull until the cat’s eyes cross and his tongue sticks out.
