I feel your pain OP. I lost my fellah a while back, 4 years ago in fact. I still think of him. I have another dog now (rescue) and fun times are back again. You'rs was a lovely looking dog.

I honestly would give up everything I've achieved in my life to date, mortgage free house, financial security etc and start again from scratch... if my 13 year old fella could have his life over again.

Thank you to everyone for your kind and caring comments. - 'Gizmo' was my soul mate and will always be with me..........The memories we shared together, will last beyond my lifetime.

So sorry for your loss,what a stunning lad. The pain of losing a much loved pet is shattering. It’s something I don’t believe we ever get over,and maybe we shouldn’t. That said,I honestly believe that one day,when our time comes,we will be reunited at the Rainbow Bridge. Try and think of all the good times you spent together,until you are together once more.

Mate,i really do feel for you! I have seen people shot,run over and all sorts of nasty st,but when my little darling passed three years ago, my world collapsed,i didnt go to work for a week! 😢😢
