Nordschleife - taking a dog, where to stay, a vet??

I am a regular at the Nordschliefe but this year my wife bought a dog (Cockerpooh). I am just wondering if anyone on here has been to the Nurburgring and taken a dog. If so where did you stay and do you have links to a good vet. My wife has given me to understand they need a jab 24 hours before going back to the UK.

We sometimes travel to France on the ferry, Dover - Calais and sometime the channel tunnel. We like to stay as close to the entrance as possible - Am Tiergarten, Lindner, Zum Berg but am happy for pointers as to anyone in Nurburg (or worst case Adenau) that does not mind having a dog in the room.

One thing you should do is get a pet passport in the EU this will save you paying a UK every time you go to Europe. You’ll still have to pay the first time to get there.
