Cat post cancer op, forgotten where to toilet, help?
Discussion
Callia, our Greek rescue - seen elsewhere on these pages - has recently had a second (very expensive, this cat is ruinous!) cancer lump removal op. She's maybe 10 (unknown because of street cat background)
Since the op she has started pissing anywhere but her litter tray. No 2's aren't a prob, they go there. What do we do? You can't 'toilet train' a cat AFAIK, and what's caused her to forget where to go? Could it be an incontinence thing as a result of the op, or something interfered with her to stop her basic instinct?
It's a good job we have a decent washing machine, it's on none stop cleaning blankets/cussions/pillows/duvets etc etc.
Anyone any suggestions?

Second litter tray in the place she now wees most often & consider putting something smelling of the wee in it?
There are 2 upstairs and one downstairs, and this is just the thing, she's going anywhere and everywhere. We're phoning the vets to ask if she could have a urinary infection?Gassing Station | All Creatures Great & Small | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
