Anyone got any yet?

For the second year running nothing happening in my pond.

10 - 15 years ago I was giving buckets of spawn away to fellow pond owners, now, not a sign of anything.

Word on the Lilly pad is that the frog lads are still pi**ed odd with you for giving away their babies 15 years ago.

Have it in our pond - whether they will survive if we have any dragonfly larvae this year, who knows!

Made a little pot pond last summer, in a large planter. Stuck a few plants in, a solar fountain, and it's thrived. Off to pick up some frogspawn from a friend's pond on Saturday.

There used to be loads of frog spawn in our pond in the spring but this stopped several years ago when the fish (koi) got big and started to eat it, the frogs kept laying the spawn for a few years but then stopped coming.
My next door neighbour has a pond with small fish and has loads of frog spawn.

Our taddies died a few years ago when I topped the pond up and left the hose on - must have been the chlorine or thermal shock.

The frogs never came back however the newts continue to thrive.
