Animal Medical diagnosis thread on PH?

Is there a thread on here for this? We know vets are expensive and there must be a wealth of knowledge on here for initial thoughts on any matter? Maybe one should be pinned at the top ?

It could be a good filter before you go down the vet to sort out real problems rather than just something that disappears within 2 weeks anyhow that cost you some money as you panic attacked.....

Of course, you have probably worked out by now I am about to ask for medical advice from our resident vets

My dog, has this on his foot.




I have been on the internet and cyst does not seem to be right as those seem to be normally between the toes. It is not painful and has had it for two weeks.

Any thoughts about before I go down the vets?

Well that's a great way to ask for free advice, we're expensive but maybe worth it?
It's not a cyst, more likely a wart, but perhaps a simple biopsy by aspirate might give you an answer.
Now go see your expensive vets
