The obvious step is the vets but what’s your thoughts?
My Labrador is 4 years old, she’s fit and bang on her “ideal” weight of 22-5kg.
She walks, runs and jumps absolutely fine but when I dry her left leg she often yelps.
Continued touching doesn’t seem to bother her, it’s the initial contact. We’ve looked and we can’t see anything wrong. Any ideas?

Sorry your dog is having this pain. You’re right, vet check is really important to establish what the pain cause is. It could be a number of things and the vet will rotate and manipulate the leg to find the cause, it could be something like a tissue issue with tendons or ligaments or it could be orthopaedic with joints, or something else that’s referred to another area (even lumbar or spine). With a Lab it could be a common Lab thing with hips so I’d urge a check sooner than later to put your mind at rest. Good luck
