Hi all,

I'm getting a new dog, after not having one for a few years, and was wondering if there any particulary good insurance companies out there?
My last dog was with M&S and they were great but they no longer offer it.

Cheers in advance!

Used pet plan for the Springer, happy enough and first time I've used them.

We're with Pet Plan for two of our dogs. They both have chronic health conditions and we've had no problems.

They pay the vet direct - if you want this rather than pay the vet and claim back, it's as well to check with your vets, because I understand that some won't deal with certain insurance companies.

They are not the cheapest, but I think they're widely regarded as the best.

Petplan is prob the best bust expensive. BoughtByMany is about half the price for my dog and seem to get very good reviews, yet to move over to them as everytime I think about it he has a small injury I worry that might be long term and not covered

Used to be with Petplan - moved to Bought By Many last year. They’ve been fine on the one claim we’ve had on one dog.

Thanks for the tip, I'll give the vets a bell tomorrow and see if they work this way & if there's anyone they don't deal with.
