I wanted to see what is wandering around my garden / living in various holes so I bought a Campark T20 Toguard Wildlife cam - I looked at several reviews / videos online and it seemed good, I set it to record 10 second videos on it's most sensitive position.

However it didn't record anything - except me and my dogs

To test it's PIR sensitivity I set it up two feet from my very busy bird feeder and it triggered ten times in two hours - which means it didn't trigger the other 700 times

Am I expecting too much ?

I've seen videos showing a mouse captured 10+ feet away or do I just have to spend more ?

Not sensitive enough for small fast birds to trigger it?

Quick google suggests a trigger time of 0.5 to 0.8 seconds.
Another google gets this:

Also perhaps not suitable for small birds?
