Not my cat. But this has affected me a bit more than expected.

He was a cat. Yes, I know the posts on Facebook were the work of a human and, whilst the cat existed, his thoughts were purely fictional. But Le Chat Noir's ennui and his indifference to 'the thieving filmmaker' and "l'imbecile blanc' were entertaining and a must read.

RIP Henry. You will be missed by millions.

(also brings into sharp focus that my 18 year old girl is most likely on borrowed time. They are with us for far too few years.)

It's a strange thing this internet stuff and animals, all of us who frequent these pages think the world of not only our animals but also those online that make us smile. Case in point being "Grumpy Cat". I'd never heard of "Le Chat Noir", but I'm catching up with what he was about as I type.

In our household we are very partial to "Crusoe the Celebrity Dachshund",

2020 wasn't a good year for celebrity cats.

I've just watched one of the Streetcat Named Bob productions.

Bob was hit by a car in June.

This upsets me, because I'd followed the story, read the books. I can't imagine what James went through when Bob went missing and was then found dead frown
