I had an extremely busy bird feeder with loads of varieties using a seed mix that came in a 5ltr tub. They would rattle through it in a couple of weeks so I decided to buy a 12Kg bag of another mix as it was starting to prove expensive this one ...

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00604O52E/ref...

Birds to the feeder gradually petered off and ive now not seen a single bird for a week....

Anyone have any recommendation's from Amazon ? Birds are obviously not daft and will not eat any old crap !

If you have one nearby and can cope with the shopping experience hehe then I'd recommend these 12.55 kg bags from B&M at a great price of £3.99. We get through bags of the stuff together with the £1 bags of dog food for the foxes from Poundland.

My wife gets bird food from these people

https://www.vinehousefarm.co.uk

I don’t know how they compare with everyone else but our garden is full of birds happily scoffing away on it all day. Wife feeds them birdseed, fat balls and suet stuff all from Vine House and they are really nice people to deal with. (I have no connection with them and other bird food retailers are available)

Hope that helps.

Ian.
