Outdoor shower for dogs
Discussion
I remember seeing somebody who had rigged up an electric shower externally for using on their dog after muddy walks.
Found a video showing a more simple version of extending the shower hose with a hosepipe out of the window to a hozelock style spray head.
Dead easy to set up I did it exactly as the video this morning, looking forward to trying on the dog. Has anybody done anything similar?

Have one of these for cleaning the bike (can carry it around in the boot of the car to wash a mucky bike before putting it on the rack). It seems you can use them for washing dogs too. Although I suspect a dog would prefer warm water to the cold water I use for the bike.

I take a Mud Daddy and a couple of towels with me on walks. Fill the mud daddy with warmish water, then after an hour or so it's a nice temp for the woofs.
Shower them by the car, towel off and then in the car.
Yep, we do the same. Mud Daddy has been a revelation.Shower them by the car, towel off and then in the car.
Doesn't appear that the MudDaddy has much pressure behind it to clean, I've been considering the Karcher for our mutt.

Not just as good to take warm water and a brush?

Its plunger operated to build up pressure. It also has a brush on the shower to loosen the dirt. Certainly has enough pressure to rinse off a dirty dog. Not sure a dog would appreciate being blasted by a Karcher !Doesn't appear that the MudDaddy has much pressure behind it to clean, I've been considering the Karcher for our mutt.

We had an outside hot tap fitted next to the cold tap then connect the hot tap and cold tap via hozelock adapters to a basic thermostatic mixer. Bought an extra long hose off ebay for the shower head. Served us well over the years, could give the dogs a quick rinse or a full on wash down summer or winter.
When the shower was not in use simply disconnect and stored in the shed. Total cost was about £150 incl plumber, parts and mixer.
Also doubles up as a hooman shower for pre/post hot tub use.
