this feller flew in and landed on the kitchen wall. Anyone know what it is? It makes a change to the dumb daddy long legs bouncing around this time of year, and it strangely symmetrical and cross shaped.

It's cool and harmless. Nice to have one, I see them from time to time. :-)

This.

I had one on my window earlier in the year and spent a while trying to identify it online. Very odd looking things but cool and quite alien with it.

I've haven't seen another since.

Plume moth it seems! It caught my eye as it reminded me of an early ww1 biplane, and a touch of ww2 parachute glider. Happy to have had it in the house and it flew off eventually. Not like the Box tree moths that have been terrorising our hedges. They're a handsome moth but even the dog and kids have been trained to attack on sight.
