Just wondering if anyone here has an older dog and whether you give them any supplements? I’ve heard there are various products around which help with keeping joints healthy, muscles etc etc but not sure if they’re snake oil or not.

Thanks. He’s a nightmare for taking pills but wouldn’t mind fish oil if it was added to his food.
Cheers

Salmon oil is commonly used for various things including joints and is sometimes prescribed by vets (but can also be bought).

Otherwise, my dogs have always enjoyed tinned fish such as sardines and tuna (ideally in oil).

This was recommended by someone who gives it to their dog. We give it to our cats now, it seems to have helped with a slight limp.

Yu move for both our dogs and our cat.

My wife takes it as well. The human version - wouldn’t want her to start barking!
