Hi all

Just looking for some advice on what food to get for my two.

Currently they are on Nutramm Sensitive (which they have been on since about 2 years old), however they are now 12 ish and don't seem to be eating too much of it. I'm wondering whether it is a bit hard for their teeth these days as they chomp through any tuna/ cooked chicken etc that I put down for them.

I'd prefer a dry food as they can come and graze as they always have rather than having to feed them at certain times.

So any suggestions on a soft senior friendly dry food?

TIA smile

Royal Canin. https://www.royalcanin.com/uk/cats/products

You'll find something to suit your exact requirements. We feed ours on the 7+ Outdoor, the Oral Care for dental health, and something else from the dry range for a bit of variety, to graze on during the day, and Sheba squishy food in the evenings.

Royal Canin have foods specifically for 12+ which may suit your needs. The retail foods should be available, possibly to order, from good pet food outlets.

Hill's food is also recommended. Our vet carries stocks of that.

Wet food all the way.

Lily's Kitchen for the win.

Thirst is a weak physiological signal for cats, which are descended from desert-dwellers who would normally get all the water they need from their prey.

Cats need wet food.

That's it.
