No, not the Robin! It comes through the hedgehole in the gravel board about 6 seconds in:



I presume it's a juvenile and hence the colours are unusual so I can't decide what it is. Probably something "boring" like a Starling!

Yes, I think it is a juvenile Starling.

Edit: What camera are you using? Got a Bushnell for my dad but that video quality looks much better (albeit he tends to use his in night mode)

Thanks folks. I clicked through the RSPB identify a bird page last night and it made all sort of suggestions that I knew were completely wrong biggrin

Camera is a Browning Spec Ops Extreme (what a ridiculous name!) - must about three years old now.

We have regular hedgehog visitors (cat/kitten biscuits & water out every night for them), so when the fence was done last month a hole for them was important. Our cat likes to use it as well during the day rolleyes
