As the removal of the quarantine regs on return to UK are heavily being flagged . We are reviving our plans to visit France mid August , as we caravan we can maintain a “bubble”( should or should not is for another thread )
We have the pet passport ready for our dog , It is the return trip I would like information on as we have never travelled with a dog before .
Has anyone used vets near Bayeux for the required worming .?
And what is the general cost of the worming treatment in France ?

I don't know that area, but we've used several different vets on France previously and they all know the routine. They need to stamp the passport with details of the medication and all is good.

You need to wait 24 hours before travel, but the window is 5 days, so you need to time the trip to the vets accordingly.

€30-50 IIRC

All the vets seem to be okay with this, even in quieter central regions. I book the appointment early, and visit towards the end of my stay, before heading north to the ports.

Last year passport stamp and wormer cost Eu50, needs doing more than 24 hr before travel back, and I think no more than 120hrs but that would need checking.

We used this place last year, it's a large practice in the centre of town, very friendly staff and they were well versed in the pet passport scheme

Agree with the above - book an appointment early - don't just turn up and expect it done on the spot
