Chew proof dog bed?
Discussion
Consensus on a similar previous topic was that there is no such thing.

My suggestion of folded cheap duvets/covers stands. We have a couple of raised beds (metal frames/mesh covers) but they are covered with dog beds/duvets.

Yeah, there are a billion things to chew but beds seem high on her list at present.
She’s even chewed the wall in a couple of spots this week which is great!
Looked at those Tuffies beds and although the price is a little off putting the fact she’s a digger means I’d be forever replacing parts too.
Was thinking of something flat and very tough but I’ve yet to find anything suitable.

chew proof dog bed ?? Is there such a thing if the dog/breed/sex thinks otherwise.
Dog 1, I had as a child- present from my aunt . Large male Cairn Terror. Dad bought him a cane bed raised on legs. Sandy decided it was a good place to cut his teeth.
Dog2- was bitsa (this and that), but he had no bed. Lucky decided that at my feet (in middle of night ) was his place.
Dog 3 ( I'll skip over the pack I had in Africa, when boy met girl and we had pups galore), had a bed, but only used it at night. Daytime, her place was on the sofa protecting WM junior from falling off.
Dog4- she had a bed but only used in the day. At night her place was on the sofa.
Dog5- Toby- a very dark male Cairn-, rescue (although he'd been "done") , his bed was the "bh" he'd been denied. We bought him a bed with a cushion. But all he wanted to do was to pul the cushion out, attack the bed ( he did manage to cut a hole in the base) and mount the base. He decided that his place was on the sofa, although when Swimbo sat down in her spot, Toby would move.
Dog6- Shona- another Cairn, but a loverly lady .Wheaten, she could not climb on the sofa. Her bed sat under the writing bureau my dad bought 50 years ago, and where on of his dogs loved to sit. Another cause for a past- did Shona sense the past presence of another dog that used to love sitting under the Bureau.I'never know, but Shona always loved that spot.
Dog7- possibly my last one. Lexi. A cross JRT/Yorky. Bed is under the bureau, and when Lexi is stressed ( she is an ex rescue very timid little dog) , she heads to the bed under the bureau. Coming out, she's very relaxed. But her main place of rest is on the sofa.
Dog beds- do we need them ,when all they want to do is cuddle up on our laps.

Our dog Flash is a 51kg Rottweiler, lives a pre-sleep dig and is far from gentle. He has had a Tuffies for 2 years now and it’s great. It has been peed on by the cats, vomited on, hair balls, left in the garden for days on end in all weather and 5 minutes with a bottle of fairy liquid and a hose and it’s ready to roll.
Not even the stuffing has moved at all.
He is 6, had about 10 beds in total but this bed will see him out I think.
Its a dark green one, no fluff and good padding.
Dave!

If your dog is minded to destroy it, then it will do so - a dog will happily demolish a cow femur, so anything weaker than that is just the warm up act.
A piece of vet bed is all a dog needs - double it over if you think they need more comfort, but really they don’t. 17 quid for a square, ours don’t consider it worthy of attack, and you can bung it in the machine and have it dry again in half an hour.
