Caught this chap in the yard in a big rat trap. Not sure if it’s a big mouse or a small rat?!

Didn’t weight it.
Was bigger than looks in the pic, that’s a huge rat trap! Have seen a rat there before, but that one was massive!

Baited it with Kinder Bar chocolate (Don’t tell my 3yr old!)

That's the one thing (Edible Dormouse) it's definitely NOT.

From that picture, I wouldn't want to bet money on whether it's a mouse or a baby rat, but I'd tend toward the former (mainly on the basis of what appears to be too much hair on the tail, for a rat).
