Hi
My dog had a MCT, which has been removed
A pug cross
DIAGNOSIS
Mast cell tumour classified as grade II according to the Patnaik grading system and low grade according to the new 2-Tier histologic grading system
The mitotic index is 1 mitoses per 10 high-power fields (400x). No multinucleated neoplastic cells are found in 10 high power fields (400x). The stroma is diffusely expanded by oedema and multifocal areas of collagenolysis.

This kind of looks ok to me
Can anyone offer advice as to whether further treatment is necessary please? To allay worries .
Obviously will speak to the vet to get full recommendation, but will take a while. Hence the question

Sorry for typo !

Mast cell tumours are often nasty but not always, got 5 years out of one of our labs after partialremoval of big MCT at 4 years old. I wouldn't have any chemo but local therapy could be easy (expensive). Most of the outcome is now in the hands of the gods in my opinion, maybe sorted 100% maybe not. Sorry it's difficult to be accurate.
